No - this series is open to adult dancers dancing anywhere. It will mainly be in the context of preparing for the North American Nationals in July but will cover many aspects that affect all dancers everywhere.

It's not required that you be actively competing in an adult Irish dance competition, but it is asked that you are 18 and older. The main focus will be specifically for navigating adult Irish dance competitions.

I hear you! But if you want to make the most progress you can, it means pushing past being uncomfortable. I’ll never make someone talk or do anything they don’t want to. But you’ll be shocked to find out how much we can learn from others in these settings. Outside of Irish dance - these types of classes or workshops are completely normal in the dance world. So help us pioneer making this the new normal in Irish dance!

Scott Doherty
"Scott started Irish dancing at the age of 6 at the O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance in Boston, MA. Taught by the world renowned Rita O’Shea and her daughter, Lisa Chaplin, Scott went on to win many titles, including eight New England Championships, the North American Championships, the Great Britain Championships, and most notably he became the men’s World Champion of Irish Dance in 2009. He made his professional debut in 2005 with the North American tour of Riverdance. Scott spent years touring the world with Riverdance, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, Busch Gardens and countless other productions. Scott's lifelong dream of starting his own show came to life in 2014 as he co-created, choreographed, and starred in Rockin’ Road to Dublin. On top of performing and creating, Scott found his love of coaching and currently works with dancers and athletes in different organizations and sports all over the world.”
