Why work with Scott?
-
Scott Doherty
"Scott started Irish dancing at the age of 6 at the O’Shea-Chaplin Academy of Irish Dance in Boston, MA. Taught by the world renowned Rita O’Shea and her daughter, Lisa Chaplin, Scott went on to win many titles, including eight New England Championships, the North American Championships, the Great Britain Championships, and most notably he became the men’s World Champion of Irish Dance in 2009. He made his professional debut in 2005 with the North American tour of Riverdance. Scott has performed with Riverdance, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, Busch Gardens and countless other productions all over the world. Scott's lifelong dream of starting his own show came to life in 2014 as he co-created, choreographed, and starred in Rockin’ Road to Dublin. On top of performing and creating, Scott found his love of coaching and currently works with dancers and athletes in different organizations all over the world.”
